On 21 July, Pablo González will appear at Opéra Berlioz in Montpellier for Festival Radio France, conducting the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. The programme features Dukas’ La Peri, Caplet’s Epiphany, with cellist Marc Coppey as soloist and Stravinsky’s The Firebird. The concert will be broadcast live on Radio France Musique.
On 31 July, Pablo also conducts the Orford Music Orchestra at the Gilles-Lefebre Concert Hall in Quebec, as part of the Orford Music Festival. The performance includes Brahms’ Tragic Overture, Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, with pianist Charles Richard-Hamelin as soloist and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.
