Conductor Pablo Gonzalez debuted with the Residentie Orkest in two concerts on 27 and 29 April 2018, leading the orchestra in a wonderful programme of rarely performed in The Netherlands De Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain with Hannes Minnaar on the piano, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade – a tale from Arabian Nights and a masterpiece of Russian late-romantic music. The programme opened with a performance of the famous overture to ‘The Magic Flute’ by Mozart.
Pablo will return to the orchestra in 19/20 season.
