Pablo will make a welcome return conducting Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana in Ascona on 16 October with soloist Maurice Steger. The programme includes Vivaldi’s Concerto for Recorder in C major, Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin and Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite. Making his Russian debut at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory on 4 November, Pablo González will conduct the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra, bringing his Spanish roots to light with a programme including de Falla’s Three Cornered Hat, Albeniz’ Iberia Suite and Javier Perianes joining him on stage to perform de Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain and Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major.
